What your eyes are telling
Humans
communicate almost through anything and that’s amazing , we were created to
communicate and we need to establish relationships in order to succeed in life.
So we need to be conscious about all the components that complete the mix in
communication. Through this Blog we have talked about the importance of
non-verbal communication and know we are taking a deeper dive in the role of
our eyes in the non verbal communication.
Glance
is ridiculously important in the non-verbal communication because it express
our feelings naturally.
Dilation on the pupils of the eyes is an indicator of interest. The more you have interest in a conversation the more your pupils are going to dilate.
Even
the number of time we blink per minute is related with the calm and nervousness
that we feel. When you see someone blinking more than usual it would naturally
put you uncomfortable. When we start looking frequently to our speaker we are
giving them the indication of trust and interest otherwise when we stop looking
at someone who is speaking we are not trusting them and he can perceive that so
be careful at the times you look at someone you could send the wrong message.
The
look:
- It
set ups the hierarchy between people.
- Is
the first contact during the communication process.
- If
you want to avoid a conversation don’t make eye contact
- The
truth resides in our eyes.
Thinking with the eyes:
- Looking up and left : Remembering a Visual memory
- Looking
up and right: Building an Image
- Eyes
to the left: Remembering a sound memory
- Eyes
to the right: Building a sound
- Looking
down and left: Internal dialogue
- Looking
down and right: Feeling, emotions.
Hope this will help you in some way, or any ocassion. Thanks for reading again ! Im Daniel bye bye
